This greeting comes a few weeks later than intended. I am new at this blog/weblog business, and have created my weblog in conjunction with my web site going up. All of this has occurred during the release of my newest novel, Dwelling Places (HarperSanFrancisco, Jan 31), and I have been busy with promotion.
I'm sure that once I get the hang of this, I'll keep the new material coming. For now, I hope you will use this space to let me know you're out there. Have you read, or are you reading, my books? What questions or comments do you have about them? My novels now include: Grace at Bender Springs, Velma Still Cooks in Leeway, The Winter Seeking, and Dwelling Places. Let me know your response to these.
In addition, I've published Simple Acts of Moving Forward: A little book about getting unstuck, and The Soul Tells a Story: Engaging Spirituality with Creativity in the Writing Life. I expect to discuss creativity often on this weblog and hope that others will join this conversation.
